Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 August 2026.

Welcome to Tamedex (“Tamedex”, “we”, “us”, the “site”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of tamedex.com — a free, unofficial wiki and toolkit for players across many games. By visiting or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Tamedex.

What Tamedex is

Tamedex is a fan-made reference: catalogs, calculators and guides built on publicly available game data and our own original illustrations. It is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. You do not need an account to use the wikis and tools; an optional free account lets you save bookmarks, track recent items and submit corrections.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Tamedex lawfully and not to:

scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site in a way that disrupts service or ignores our rate limits;
attempt to break, probe or bypass the site’s security, authentication or infrastructure;
submit content (for example, corrections or contributions) that is unlawful, infringing, misleading or spam;
use automated systems to create accounts or post at scale.

We may suspend or remove access, or remove submitted content, if these Terms are breached.

Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. You can change your password or delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your bookmarks, history and profile. How we handle account and site data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property & fan content

Game names, characters, artwork and trademarks referenced on Tamedex are the property of their respective owners. Tamedex is unofficial and not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any game publisher or developer. Portraits and cover treatments created by us are original illustrations, not official artwork. Our own text, code and original art are protected; you may reference and link to Tamedex, but you may not republish substantial portions or represent our content as your own. See our IP policy for takedown and rights questions.

Advertising & third-party services

Tamedex is ad-supported. We use Google AdSense to display advertising, which may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Third-party pages linked from Tamedex have their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control. Details of cookies and advertising are in our Privacy Policy.

No warranty

Tamedex is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we work hard to keep data accurate and verified against community sources (see our methodology and sources), we do not guarantee that any information, rate, recipe or calculation is complete, current or error-free. Games change; use the site at your own discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tamedex and its maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site — including any decisions made in a game based on our data or tools.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use Tamedex after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
