Stats, size and type
The official site says each Pokémon is graded on how well it fits its position from base stats, size and type. QB, pass rushers and corners count the most, and your four weakest spots drag the whole team down.
3 per lineup
The official site allows up to 3 Legendaries in the standard mode. The Original 151 variant excludes them. Press coverage repeats the limit of three.

Per the official site, each Pokémon is graded on how well it fits its position from base stats, size and type. QB, pass rushers and corners count the most, and the four weakest spots drag the whole team down. Dexerto does not describe the formula, so this comes from the site only.
The site lists a standard Pokémon All mode (generations 1 to 9), a Retro mode (generations 1 to 4) and a 151 Challenge with only the original Pokémon. Dexerto and Held Games also describe a 17-0 Challenge with a leaderboard and a multiplayer snake draft with private or public rooms, adjustable pick timers and computer teams.
Up to 3 Legendary Pokémon are allowed in the standard mode; the Original 151 variant has none. Dexerto repeats the limit of three.
Retrododo describes two viewing angles: Pro, the usual all-22 camera, and Bowl, a top-down view. We did not see these named on the official site.
Held Games says it runs on Android handhelds, the Steam Deck in desktop mode and PC handhelds with modern browsers, with touch controls, and does not work on Linux handhelds that lack a browser. We did not test this.
The site says it is free and not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures or The Pokémon Company. Retrododo quotes the creator as saying there will be no betting or monetisation.
Held Games says the launch followed a viral social challenge on October 8, 2026.
Dexerto dates Cole's original X post to October 9, 2026. Held Games also says October 9. Retrododo and Games.GG published on October 12 and 11.
