1. Overview
The real payoff of breeding is passives. A child can carry up to four passive skills pulled from the combined pool of both parents. With patience you can stack the exact four you want onto any species.
2. Inheritance rules
When an egg hatches, the game draws passives from the union of both parents’ traits (plus a small chance of a random extra). More shared/target passives on the parents means a higher chance the child rolls them.
- Level, stats and gender are not inherited — only species and passives.
- A child can end up with fewer than four passives; re-breed until all four line up.
3. Funneling the traits you want
Pick your four target passives (e.g. Legend, Lucky, Ferocious, Swift). Breed two parents that collectively carry them, then re-breed the best offspring forward, always keeping the child that inherited the most targets.
Pro tip Keep a “carrier” Pal whose only job is to hold a rare passive — pair it in to seed that trait into a fresh line. Browse the passives library to plan targets.
