AION 2 Spacetime Rift timer
NCsoft has not published when AION 2 Spacetime Rifts open. This timer does not guess: you mark when you last saw one open and the interval you observe, and it counts down to the next openings in your own time, with an optional beep.

What we know about Spacetime Rifts
- The developer’s server matchmaking post says that in AION 2 each server holds one faction, and that Spacetime Rifts and the Abyss are cross-faction modes where you meet players from your paired server. Read the Steam post.
- No Steam announcement in the latest 40 gives opening times, frequency, duration or rewards for rifts.

Is there an official AION 2 Spacetime Rift schedule?
Not that we could find. In the latest 40 Steam announcements as of 5 October 2026, Spacetime Rifts appear only in the server matchmaking posts, which describe them as a mode where Elyos and Asmodian players from paired servers meet. None gives opening times.
How often do Spacetime Rifts open?
We do not know. A widely repeated claim is every 3 hours, but the developer has not stated it and Tamedex has not played the game to check. The timer starts at 180 minutes only because that is the claim people search for; change it to what you see.
How do I use the timer?
When you see a rift open, press “A rift just opened”. The timer then lists the next openings at your chosen interval, in your own time zone. If the game disagrees with the prediction, press the button again at the real opening to re-sync.
Does the beep work with the screen off or another tab open?
Only while this page stays open, and browsers may silence background tabs. Turn the beep on once so the browser lets the page play sound; keep the tab visible if you need it to be reliable.
Is my data stored anywhere?
Only in your own browser storage, so the countdown survives a refresh. Nothing is sent to Tamedex.
What time zone does it use?
Your device’s. AION 2 server reset times are not part of this tool.
What Tamedex has not tested
We have not played AION 2 and cannot confirm the rift interval, duration or reward rules. The timer only does arithmetic on the two values you give it; its accuracy is the accuracy of those values.
