1.008

· Steam announcement

Crash, save-loading and quest soft-lock fixes, plus a balance pass that makes delivery orders, vendor trading and battle wins give more town likes and Town Gratitude.

  • Fixed a crash when going to bed that could throw the player out of bounds, and a save that got stuck on an infinite load screen because of a conveyor-related exception.
  • Fast Travel Points can no longer be used during battle.
  • Fixed the zombie Panic debuff not triggering when you are over the zombie cap.
  • Fixed a zombie getting stuck taking items from the firewood holder, and wheat visually following the player while farmers failed to produce.
  • Fixed the Sommelier perk so it boosts wine crafting, and the distiller craft tooltip showing the wrong requirement.
  • Fixed the PR machine lasting less time than stated.
  • Fixed two quest blockers: the Inflation / mercenary quest (which left a garden plot locked) and a main-questline soft-lock when finishing Linda's Ball before the Plague Doctor's Beautiful Dream.
  • Balance: delivery orders earn more likes and need fewer crates, the Happy Supplier perk gives a bigger bonus, vendors allow more likes in total and per item, and winning battles gives more Town Gratitude.

1.007

· Steam announcement

Item-duplication exploit fixes, crash and performance fixes, several crafting-station fixes and a rebalance of self-study books.

  • Fixed item-duplication exploits, including bag-to-bag transfers and alchemy / farmer bag abuse; dynamite can now be destroyed or sold.
  • Fixed repeated exception pop-ups, a crash when a zombie caretaker picked items from inventory, and severe FPS drops (down to about 2 FPS) when saving.
  • Zombies now earn red tech points for winning fights.
  • Fixed the study table not awarding science points, the potter's wheel getting stuck on Craft, and being unable to obtain polished stone.
  • Fixed the Tempering Expert perk so it grants its Mastery bonus and unlocks Master Armor and sword crafting.
  • Fixed the PR machine not working and iron supply delivery quests getting stuck.
  • Fixed progression blockers in the Central Districts Purge quests (Part I and II) and a translation error that blocked quest completion.
  • Rebalanced self-study books.

· Steam announcement

Added an in-game bug report for the Steam PC build, zombie and kitchen fixes, and trading and achievement fixes.

  • Fixed zombie placement at the cooking oven blocking the millstone, and getting wedged between workstations, chests and extensions when pushed by a zombie.
  • Extra bag slots now work for pickups and vendor buys when the backpack is full; static-price trade goods keep a fixed price instead of doubling on the first buy.
  • Demo-save milestones now unlock Steam achievements retroactively in the full game.
  • Players can no longer destroy Defender's Emblems and soft-lock zombie squad unlocks.
  • Fixed crop beds getting permanently stuck just before harvest, and intermittent crashes on ultrawide or non-standard resolutions.

  • Improved performance at the top of the alchemy tower and cleared a batch of errors that appeared before the first sleep or save.
